This conference had 7 students from 8 countries participating as panelists, including Sweden, which is a member of the G10 and the EU, as well as the summit, and the coordinator was Professor Keio University Graduate School of Media Design and former professor. We welcomed Professor Ichiya Nakamura, who was in charge of Internet policy at the Ministry of Posts and Telecommunications, and exchanged opinions on the theme of "ICT, the present of young people, and the future of humanity."
The meeting was held with simultaneous interpretation in English and Japanese, similar to a real ministerial meeting, and the discussion included the benefits of ICT, such as ``a new form of communication and a very useful tool'' and ``the ability to work from home.'' ``It is important to take responsibility for not becoming addicted'' and ``It would be good if more people could use it in developing countries.'' There was a lively exchange of opinions.
Collaborating to formulate opinions
After the discussion, each of the 10 students proposed 1 words that they imagined as symbolic words for ICT, and a student proposal document for the future of ICT was created using all of these words. it was done. The recommendations made at this student summit are scheduled to be presented at the actual ministerial meeting.
